I’ve been incredibly tired and what I’m calling “creatively depressed” lately.

Last week I was alerted that a Twitter account, a roleplayer called Hans_Islas_Rol posted and is using one of my fan art as their profile picture. They are using another fan art from someone else as header for their account as well, and have posted several other fan arts and edits (from @puryartist to @galaxygolfergirl ) Without giving credit to the respective fan artists.

I went as far as to freaking create a Twitter to contact this user and ask for them to take down my fan art. They haven’t posted anything since December 2019, so I assume my effort is useless.

I’m beyond sick and tired of this happening. Finding my fan art in sites I don’t even visit and posted by people I’ve never crossed words with has me beyond annoyed and frustrated. This is what made me stop posting fan art for years the last time this happened to me (C.D./galaxygolfergirl remembers what happened to us with a deviantart user years ago) Even if I write my url on my fan art or explicitly ask for it to not be reposted, there’s still motherf*ckers like this Hans_Islas_Rol and several others who will do as they please with no consequences.

I have a lot I want to draw and I’d love to share it with the people here that I know will appreciate my work and vision. But seeing my fan art being posted elsewhere and by strangers who most likely don’t understand, respect, or share my vision and don’t even credit me is a huge turn off for me.

I seriously grow frustrated with this things happening. I was talking about my frustrations to my brother yesterday (he is the one that alerted me about the Twitter art thief) and I broke down at a public place. This is no game for me, this is not fun for me.

So I ask the tumblr Helsa fans that know me and appreciate my fan work to report anyone you come across that has posted any fan art of mine you recognize (signed “helsaguy.tumblr” or disneysfrozenguy.tumblr"), please. They could be posted on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Deviantart, anywhere you casually/randomly find them (I’m not asking you to go looking for my fan art) because I sure as hell wasn’t asked first and I sure didn’t give my permission for strangers to post my stuff wherever they want.

And last, I sincerely don’t know if or when I’ll be posting fan art again. After my depressive episode I don’t feel like posting again tbf.
